Jollibee is opening a second location in Calgary!
Put those elbow pads down fried chicken enthusiasts, you won’t be needing them anymore. Fast-food heavy-weight and new YYC favourite Jollibee is opening a second location in Calgary. No more fighting for a spot in line!
Since opening last fall, this place has been beyond packed almost every single day from open to close. Naturally, it would be in the employees, customers and the companies’ best interest to supply in accordance with the overwhelming demand for that sweet, sweet spaghetti and those legendary peach mango pies. Right? Right!

According to a popular Calgary radio show, in addition to the existing spot at Pacific Place Mall, Jollibee is planning on opening J2 right on Macleod Trail, only 10 minutes from Chinook Centre. This could be huge, guys.
We’ll be keeping our watchful, hungry eye on this one for you, as there isn’t an official opening date just yet. But we honestly can’t wait. Those pies. Ugh.
This will be good. We almost don’t remember what it’s like to get a piece of chicken without a 2-hour wait time. It’s fried food, not Splash Mountain.
