8 things to do this week in Calgary (Nov 11-15)
Oh hey there, Calgary! We hope everyone had a fantastic last few days, but now it’s back to the grind. If a 40-hour workweek isn’t quite putting a pep in your step, hopefully, these after-hours activities will! Here are 8 things to do in Calgary this week.
REMEBERANCE DAY AT THE JUBILEE
This moving ceremony is held annually in honor of all veterans of the past and present. There will be a march outside the building following the ceremony, depending on the weather.

DINNER AND A MOVIE AT HERITAGE PARK
Have a bite at Heritage Parks Selkirk Grille and then catch The Breakfast Club (a masterpiece) on Gasoline Alley’s big screen. You can reserve yours by calling the Selkirk Grille or registering online. We’d recommend snagging some tickets now rather than later because these events sell out pretty quick!

LA BOHEME
Get lost in Puccini’s whirlwind love story, La Boheme. This popular opera follows young artists, struggling to get by in 1830’s Paris, and is packed with incredible music and masterful performances. We’d recommend bringing a tissue or two for this one!

BODY WORLDS: ANIMAL INSIDE OUT
You’ll never look at our four-legged friends the same way after an exhibit like this. Get under the scales, fur, and skin of some of nature’s most majestic creatures, during Telus Spark’s newest attraction. (don’t worry though guys, we’re a bunch of animal lovers here! Body Worlds exhibitions rely on a body donation program and none of the animals in the exhibitions were harmed or killed.)

MURDER UNDER THE MISTLETOE – FORT CALGARY
Grab a drink and participate in a classic whodunnit. This Christmas dram-edy will hopefully have you laughing from start to finish. It’s like Clue, but you won’t have to suffer a loss to that one friend you know for a damn fact cheats their way to the win on boardgame night.

SPRUCE MEADOWS INTERNATIONAL CHRISTMAS MARKET
The Spruce Meadows International Christmas Market is an absolute must-do. View thousands of lights, pet a reindeer or two and even start that Christmas shopping way ahead of schedule.
