What’s up, Calgary? The long weekend is finally here! We made itttt (cue Chris D’elia drunk girl voice). If you’re sticking around in the city, we’ve got just the thing to transport you to that tropical vacation you’ve been wishing for. Or, at the very least, it’ll get you drunk. Either way, Ricardo’s Hideaway has put out another solid summer bevy for us to sip and savour, and we’re eternally grateful.
Ricardo’s Hideaway has recently introduced the World’s Largest Mai Tai to their cocktail menu. Okay, it might not actually be the largest, but hey- we appreciate the effort.

This bad boy, aka Jungle Juice, aka Goodnight, Sweet Prince, is for groups of 4 or more. It’s loaded with 12 ounces (oh hell yeah) of liquor. More specifically, the drink is made of Mount Gay Eclipse Rum, Cointreau, Orgeat, pineapple juice, OJ, lime juice, and angostura bitters.
It sure sounds like it tastes like a GD dream and you know what? We’re here for it.
If you’re looking to ball on a budget this weekend, make sure you stop by for their happy hour. It runs from 4 pm to 7 pm Tuesday to Saturday, and all day Sunday. Yep, ALL DAY Sunday. Sounds like the happiest hours to us.
